Knee Osteoarthritis

The knee is one of the joints most commonly affected by osteoarthritis affecting about 10% of people aged over 55 years in the UK. The main symptoms of osteoarthritis of the knee are pain, stiffness, crepitus (a creaking, crunching, grinding sensation when you move the joint), swelling and your knee giving way.
